I am a visionary cast glass sculptor living in the desert Southwest. My emotive work deals with the spirituality and philosophy of mankind through archetypal and symbolic images. Using the narrative, I conjure up renewal, hope and healing. I implore mythology, and the combination of man, animal and plants to convey these thoughts. I travel frequently around the world whether it is Asia, Africa or Antarctica gathering pods, flowers and other vegetal materials to use in my work. My work is in the laborious and coveted tradition of Daum and Lalique and deals with the Surrealistic aspects of life; fragility, space time continuum, loss and impermanence. I originally studied at the Corning Institute as well as Chihuly’s Pilchuck. The purpose of my artwork is for my viewers to achieve feelings of self-actualization through visual transcendence.
