Presentation by Latchezar Boyadjiev: February 23, 2025
On February 23, Arizona Glass Alliance will very proudly host a presentation by one of the true master cast glass sculptors working today, Latchezar Boyadjiev. Latchezar, who grew up in Bulgaria, was a prize student of the famed father of Czech studio glass, Stanislav Libensky. After graduating from his studies with Libensky, Latchezar moved to California, where he has lived and worked ever since. His work is in the collections of major museums around the world, including such names as the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Presentation by Sayak Suzuki: March 10, 2025
As our first event in March, Arizona Glass Alliance, in partnership with Warren Norgaard's Milkweed Studio, will host a presentation by a very interesting glass and mixed media artist, Sayaka Suzuki. Originally from Japan, Sayaka's glass sculptures and mixed media installations reflect both her home country as well as her adopted home in Virginia . . .
